Ordinary Biometric Congolese Passport

1. For Adults. To apply for a biometric passport, the applicant must provide:
   1. An old Congolese passport.
   2. A residence permit issued by the host country.

IMPORTANT : If one of the two required documents (old Congolese passport or residence permit) is missingat the time of the appointment at the Embassy, the passport application will require identification verification through the appropriate service. In such cases, the applicant must provide additional documents to confirm their identity.

The Embassy, in strict compliance with the instructions from the relevant authorities, advises all applicants to ensure that their application file is complete before the appointment date to facilitate a smooth process.

1. For Minors
   1. An old Congolese passport.
   2. A residence permit issued by the host country.
   3. If one of these two documents is missing, the identification process will be required.

      2. Parental authorization.
      3. Household composition certificate.

Temporary Travel Document ("Tenant-Lieu de Passeport")

1. A copy of the old Congolese passport.
2. A copy of the residence permit issued by the host country.
3. Two identical passport-sized photos with a white background.
4. A flight ticket or reservation for a trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo.

If either the old Congolese passport or residence permit is missing, the applicant will be required to undergo an interview and identification verification through the appropriate service. Additional documents may be requested to confirm identity.

Fee: €150.00

Note: The temporary travel document is only issued for return travel to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
