\n

Ordinary Visa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A. For Adults<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

1. A passport valid for at least one year and a photocopy of the first two pages of the passport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Visa application form:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • If applying in person at the Embassy, duly complete the visa application form in capital letters without erasures (dated and signed form).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    A photocopy of the identity card (front and back) (for Belgium and Luxembourg) and a photocopy of the first two pages of the passport for Dutch citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Two identical and recent passport-sized photos (it is not possible to take a photo on-site).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Special Cases:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For researchers, academic and scientific staff on a service mission: they must present a letter from their institution, in addition to the required documents mentioned above (points 1, 2, 3, 4).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For media professionals on a service mission: an accreditation from the relevant Ministry, a list of their equipment, and the required documents (points 1, 2, 3, 4) are needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Non-Congolese Nationals:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In addition to the documents listed above, non-Congolese nationals must provide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7. A valid residence certificate (for residents of the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg).<\/strong>) ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    8. A criminal record extract (for\u00a0residents of the Netherlands).<\/strong>) ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A certificate of good conduct, life, and morals (for BENELUX residents of other nationalities).<\/strong>) ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    10. An invitation letter that must be officially notarized by a notary in the host\u2019s city of residence and legalized by the Directorate of Chancery at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kinshasa) or the capture center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    11. The host must clearly provide all their contact details: full name, occupation, phone number, and address. If the host is an individual, they must attach copies of their identity card and service card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    12. A commitment of financial responsibility from the Directorate General of Migration must also be accompanied by a duly legalized invitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    a) All urgent visa requests must be made at the embassy (no online urgent requests).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    b) Health Requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Compliance with travel health regulations related to the pandemic is mandatory according to the departure and arrival country\u2019s guidelines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Travelers must have an international yellow fever vaccination certificate issued within the last five years (see Travel Clinic C\u00e9sar de Paepe, Rue des Alexiens 13\/1000 Brussels) or consult their primary care physician.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      c) National Visa Commission Regulations. The National Visa Commission has reminded RDC embassies of the following provisions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • Every visa application for entry into the Democratic Republic of Congo is subject to its approval. No visa can be issued without prior review by the Commission.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • If a visa application is refused, there will be no refund. Visa processing takes at least one week. For first-time travelers to the DRC, the processing time is two weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        B. For Minors<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        In addition to the above-mentioned documents (points 1, 2, 3, and 4), the following is required:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        1. A parental authorization signed by one parent if the child is traveling with one of the parents (father or mother). The parental authorization must be notarized by the municipal authority in the residence of the signing parent(s). L\u2019autorisation parentale doit \u00eatre l\u00e9galis\u00e9e par une autorit\u00e9 communale de r\u00e9sidence du (des) parent(s) signataire(s) ;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Note: The visa is only granted to residents of BENELUX.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Any incorrectly completed form or incomplete application will not be accepted.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          In case of visa refusal, trip cancellation, or withdrawal, fees paid will not be refunded.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Payment Methods:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          • Payments can be made by bank card at the Chancellery counter at the Embassy of the DRC in the Netherlands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Diplomatic Visa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
              \n
            1. A verbal note<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. A copy of the identity card<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. A copy of the passport<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            4. Two passport-sized photos<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Special Visa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

              Depending on the specific case, applicants must contact the Chancellery for further instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
